Passed out!

Tonight, Maddie finished her dinner before the rest of us, so after putting her dishes in the sink, she went into the family room. We thought she was playing, but noticed a few minutes later that it was awful quiet. After I finished my dinner, I came around, and saw she had curled up with a cozy blanket, and just fell asleep. I woke her up soon after so she would be able to go to sleep at bedtime. She didn't like that I woke her up, but at least I was able to take some cute pictures before I did!

Weekend in Iowa

We went to Iowa over the weekend to visit my Dad a.k.a Papa and Margaret. We celebrated Papa's birthday a little early and Maddie sure loved being Margaret's helper in the kitchen making dinner. She got a kick out of wearing an apron. She offered her assistance with all the candles too! Before we left, she got to help drive the tractor and go for a ride which she certainly enjoyed!
