So, Saturday before naptime, Amy took the girls to Grand Prairie to go to Kids' Day. They were going to do face painting, finger printing & other things she thought the kids would enjoy. Unfortunately, it had rained most of the morning, so they canceled most of it. LaVerne joined them though and they were able to get Maddie's face painted and her hand tattooed. Oh yeah, and they did some shopping, of course!
So, they postponed the Kids' Day until Sunday, so we all went back, and had a nice time. Maddie liked seeing Tigger, and enjoyed going through the misting area.
After that Sam & Amy went home for Sam's nap, while Maddie & I ended up going for a quick swim at Grandma & Grandpa's. The water in the pool was warmer than the air temperature. That made getting out of the pool a cold affair!
